“ We had our engagement party at FUEL, and we couldn’t have made a better venue choice. From the kind and attentive staff, to the delicious food and drinks, everything was perfect. Karen, the co-owner of the establishment, was extremely communicative during the party planning stage, and went above and beyond the day of to make sure our needs were met and exceeded. The venue was set up perfectly, and our vision came to life! We had family attend from Florida, and it was their first time trying cheese curds and Italian beef! They were blown away by the food, and went up for seconds and thirds. One of our guests shared that she usually doesn’t order a drink more than once, but the Basil Vodka Lemonade was a hit and she went back to the bar for another glass! The staff were incredible, Margaret checked on us frequently and Jack was super attentive. Sergio is a brilliant chef, and graciously accommodated our request for two individual veggie burgers on top of our four main platters for 60 people! We are so grateful to the team at FUEL and Creme for their 5-star service. Other venues should look to them as a model for fantastic customer service and hospitality. Thank you for making our special day perfect! ”

“ Awesome to take a load off here after a long walk on the nearby Prairie Path trail. The staff were enthusiastic, friendly and especially patient to the demanding and high maintenance parents and children on a busy Sunday afternoon. They definitely cater to the local demographic, with a decent kiddie menu. That’s great, (no judgement!) but heads up if you don’t love bar experiences with little ones running around. Maybe better to revisit later in the evening in that case. The bartender was accommodating and gave great recommendations as well as a nice backstory about the chef; apparently she won Top Chef Mexico (which I couldn’t manage to fact check). Apropos of the restaurant name, the flavors and complexities of the cocktails and food reflected Pan-American food so well. The atmosphere was open and airy and definitely fulfilled a need for more alfresco dining in VP. Hopeful this spot does well, especially since the trail is so close and could bring in some good traffic. Would love to see a “tribute” cocktail to the local path and its Midwest history! Can’t wait to go back to try the gelato!! *They also have their own line of liquors soon to be offered at Binny’s! ”

“ “Flirted With My Tastebuds” Tribute didn’t just feed me they seduced me. The BLT? Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, and toast so perfect it deserves its own fan club. Onion rings? Golden halos of happiness. Birria fries? A glorious, cheesy mess I’d gladly ruin a shirt for. Drinks? Smooth enough to make bad decisions taste good. Patio vibes? String lights, sunset skies, and the kind of energy that makes you “accidentally” stay for hours. Go hungry, leave smitten. ”

“ Tribute in Villa Park is the coziest, quirky little night spot around! Tribute is not way off the beaten path located across the street from the Villa Park Historical museum and the Illinois Prairie Path. When you're inside Tribute you just feel at home and you get a neighborly backyard party kind of feeling. The staff is super friendly and they have a fun trivia night on Wednesdays. There's a spacious outdoor patio and a cozy banquet/ meeting room with floor to ceiling windows that makes you feel like your outdoors. Tribute is a great little place! ”

“ We love tribute!! Cocktails are absolutely delicious and unique, atmosphere is beautiful & fun, and the food and Gelato are delicious. It's all esthetically pleasing, fairly priced and kid friendly. Have been three times and can't wait to go back ”

“ You coming here for drinks. They are just very good. Cocktails and the beer too. Recommend as a relaxing spot to chill outside. On picture I posted how clear ice cube is. Water is great too. It doesn't smell like chlorine. Bathroom outside is very clean. Food is good for snacking. It's not a place to have a full complete meal. All this is important. I highly recommend ”

“ Great casual option in Villa Park that has gluten free options that one is actually excited to eat. I got the hot chicken and waffles and it was delicious. Very family friendly with space and games on the patio. ”

“ Tribute is a very lovely outdoor patio restaurant with very good service. They have lots of nice tables with umbrellas for shade and a tent area in the corner. Nice music and a big bin of chalk for the kids to color as we wait. There's a limited opening menu out right now with a very good and unique, though a little spicy, fish sandwich, a very good seafood roll and a unique chorizo hotdog. $5 kids meals! Lots of good drinks. They provide you a water bowl for the doggies! We will be back. Service was outstanding. Edit: this time I got the Sunnyside up burger and it was very good. Excellent fries. ”
